Below is a handful of the feedback we received from the audience. Thank you to everyone that left us such wonderful messages and comments!

“Saw the show last night. Congratulations to all the cast and crew on an excellent performance.”

 Peter O’Sullivan

“Just to say what a fantastic performance it was last night in such a beautiful setting.  Amazing, considering the restrictions you have had to endure. Hopefully the weather will be good to you for the remainder of your performances.”

 Shirley Steele

“Loved it! I didn’t know the play when I arrived. It’s always worrying seeing old works of art in the light of #MeToo but The Merry Wives of Windsor was a surprise win for modernity – strong females outwitting the men in their lives! What fun!

The players were alive and funny, the setting gorgeous, and the rain just about stayed away. We will return! Thank for pulling it together under COVID regs!”

Stella Sutherland

“It was excellent and in a beautiful setting.  The organisation and stewarding was very friendly and professional.  Couldn’t fault anything!”

Clare Williamson

“We had a wonderful evening, and being lucky with the weather helped.  It was well organised, the hamper was lovely, drinks not too expensive, great loos – the play was excellent and brilliant lighting and sound quality – what a difference that makes. I think that Stubbings make the effort to put on really good quality events.  Attentive hosts as well.  Can’t really think of anything that could be done differently.

We shall certainly be on the look out for more.”

Tessa Hennessy

“I certainly enjoyed The Merry Wives of Windsor. Very confident and lively performance which made me feel quite involved. Super costumes and characterisation.  In spite of slightly windy and unseasonal weather, it was a great success. Looking forward to the next production.”

Margaret McFarlane

“First time we have been to Stubbings, layout of chairs and backdrop very good. The play was very funny and thought the cast were excellent, such a lot of script to learn. A welcome cup of tea at half time when it started to cool down. Hope to go again. Hope you raised a lot of money for the charity.”

Alan Perry

“My friends and I really enjoyed the performance, a big thank you to everyone including the actors for doing this during these very difficult times, we will certainly be back.”

Lynn Andrews

“A wonderful performance! What more can I say.”

Martin Fry
